I have heard that if you could you wouldn't write about JC . Is this true? If so, why? To me Micah and Nathaniel are too accommodating to Anita most of the time. JC tells her the way reality is whether she wants to hear it or not and we all need someone like that. Also Asher is becoming a real pain in the rump.

I tried to write Jean-Claude out of the series in book three, Circus of the Damned, but I couldn't do it. I realized that both Anita and I would miss him too much. I tried again in book eight, Blue Moon. Once I realized Jean-Claude was here to stay, I don't believe I ever said I didn't want to write about him. My instincts were right on one thing though, by letting him stay in the series past the early books his special brand of vampiric powers changed the direction of the series from what I had planned.

This is kind of similar to my last question but slightly different so I feel justified in asking. Would you ever be willing to write short stories of her and her loves relationships deepening? What I mean by that is, Frost and Merry fell in love largely off screen. It would be nice to see just them going about their daily lives and/or hanging out and seeing what they fell in love with and how

I was at your live chat and heard when you stated that there would be a third baby, I also check out your fan site and saw that it was listing the names of the babies and the fathers. It stated Rhys & Mistral for the 1st girl, Doyle & Galen
for the boy but didn't mention Frost or Sholto which of the babies did they father?

Hello! I've always wanted to ask you this question. How did you sit down at age 17 and tell yourself to write when there are so many authors out there competing with your own writing and you have no idea if your stories are going to ever hit the shelves? Your writing is amazing, you're my favorite author, but when you were young and collecting rejection slips, how did you manage to tell yourself to keep going?
