I have read this book and re-read it twice, am i missing the big twist at the end? I don't understand the ending at all or seem to be picking up on this shocking twist everybody is talking about. Its driving me crazy! Can anybody shed some light?

I love this type of book, it's sort of my thing, but either I just am a total space cadet, or there was too much nothing. Or something. To be honest, I read it twice, thinking I just wasn't paying enough attention. I think now that it was too hyped and I was looking for something larger than what was there.(less)
