I have read this book and re-read it twice, am i missing the big twist at the end? I don't understand the ending at all or seem to be picking up on this shocking twist everybody is talking about. Its driving me crazy! Can anybody shed some light?

I think that when Amber told Paul that the diaries were Claire’s. That’s Amber lying.
And if that’s the case her writing in the diary that Taylor made me do it is also a lie.
I don’t think Taylor’s parents would have left the house to their adopted daughter. They were good parents and loved their child and I don’t believe that they would just forget about their first child. I believe Claire was Taylor. The write for the diary hates anyone that Taylor loved reason why Amber hated Taylor’s husband for no reason and also killed him in the end.
If Claire really was the dangerous one then why didn’t she kill Paul once Amber was in a coma.
Amber is the writer of the diary and Claire is Taylor. This would also explain the hate Amber has towards Madeline.
In the diary the writer was jealous of Taylor’s life. Amber also says she’s jealous of Claire.
The bracelet is the one thing I can’t explain. (less)
