Alycia Amen to that, Lynn! Ya know, I don't think I've ever had one of my votes win either...does that mean we have strange taste in books? lol ;)

Not the most votes we've ever had but definitely the most comments ...... but that's mainly me running around being stupid :D

Haha I'm really enjoying this conversation! The suspense is killing me!

Sarah Yeah one of my other groups I do hides the polls all the time, more than this one, and I hate it, just my opinion. Then I have one other group and the polls are never really hidden. But I take my vote seriously. I will participate in discussion if it is a book I want to read. And I look forward to the group discussions more than anything.

Stephanie Just voted.

Jenifer I rarely vote for the winning book. lol This list is full of great books. I'll be happy to read any of them. Well, except for the two that I've already read...but in a way, I hope that Roots does win because it was such an amazing read!

We seem to have a winner emerging. If you've not voted yet, maybe that vote will change the outcome!

Who knows? Me of course! ;)

Joyce Alright, Lynn. You really seem to be enjoying yourself by keeping us in the dark and tormenting us. ;)

Let me guess...does a bird them to fly?? :)

Lea I'm sure that people vote differently with the poll hidden, so I understand why this is done and every once in awhile it may be a good thing.

However, I typically place a library hold on the books as soon as they look like they are going to win, especially the new releases. So, I do like to see the results of the poll. The extra week is great, and even when two or three books are tied neck to neck, I can put a hold on both and then cancel the one that doesn't win. It isn't optimal to do the whole list. :-)

Just my $0.02. Carry on! :-)

☼♎ Carmen the Bootyshaker Temptress ☼♎ I voted. Really liked the list but chose The Bone Season.
