That was tough. I wanted to pick several.

Virginie (chouettblog) Just voted for my 'Soooooo want to read this next' pile.
May the best book win :)

message 6: by Laura (new)

Laura shouldn't it be Fangirl instead of Eleanor & Park?

message 7: by Lynn (new)

Lynn Mod
68 votes so far and it's a pretty even spread at the moment ....

message 8: by Lynn (new)

Lynn Mod
Shit!

message 9: by Lynn (new)

Lynn Mod
Right ...... there was very few votes for any of the books (as I said above, it was fairly spread out until then), so rather than deleting the poll and starting again I've just deleted Eleanor & Park and added Fangirl.

message 10: by Lynn (new)

::sighs:: I really should learn not to try and do multiple things at once.

Fangirl, there's Fangirl??!!!
Damn it I already voted...I guess I will just have to squeeze it in if it does not get picked :)

message 12: by Lynn (new)

Lynn Mod
Virginie, you can change your vote if you want. At the bottom of the list of books there's a link that says 'change your vote'

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Yup this was a hard choice for me too! Four of them were already on my list and I ended up adding all but one of the others!

Every time I've looked so far there has been a different leader.

Nah, I was thinking about it for a split second, but decided that I will stick to my decision. To be fair, this entire list has just gems in it so it is very difficult to choose. I just want to read them all :)

I agree. I have most of these books on my TBR and there's still a couple that I was thinking about adding. Great recommendations this month!

message 23: by Kath (new)

Kath Great list. 2 I liked a lot and 2 on my TBR.

message 24: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca Lonsdale good list, most of these are on my wanted to read list but haven't read any so this is a good line up ;) I'm very happy with this months list :)

message 25: by Danita L (new)

Danita L A bit disappointed in this month's list. Those that I like, two I have already read; many of the others are part of a series and/or for young readers.

I chose the one left that seemed interesting.

It would be nice to see some foreign authors made available, at least 1-2 each month rather than books in a series.

Kace | The Booknerd Love it. Although I haven't read any so this is a good start. :)

All the books come from members nominating, if you want to see something different then nominate a book yourself next month :)

Well at least we now know there's at lest one vote for Fangirl :).

I can't wait to see the results...it's driving me nuts:)

That is if she does come back to check how to vote .... maybe she thinks she has voted now ... that means there could be no votes for Fangirl!

Who knows?

Oh .... I DO!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Cherene I read Fangirl last month. I'd be okay with several others winning.

Virginie (chouettblog) I am leaning towards the bone season. Otherwise Ok, I will be happy with the nominee who wins. :)

Erm, it isn't. This is the first time it's been nominated, you can see from our previous polls here https://www.goodreads.com/poll/list/8...

message 45: by Laura (new)

Laura I like that the votes are hidden. Thanks for changing it up Lynn!

message 46: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Well unlike you Laura I would prefer to use my vote toward a book that might have a chance at winning and not waste it on one that has no shot at all.

Guys it's just a poll about a bunch of random books, it's really not that important in the whole scheme of things.

If you don't like the book that wins, you don't have to read it. We as a group have plenty of books to read each month and discuss. If you don't like any of those books then there is a silly amount of other groups (which I'm sure you're a member of some) on Goodreads that will have.

While obviously I want as many of you as possible to join in the discussions each month, sometimes a book isn't for you. I know that I don't join in with every book.

message 49: by Lynn (new)

Lynn Mod
I actually checked this group's polls earlier today and not once have I voted for the winning book (despite being able to see the vote each time), and I have to read them because I'm the mod discussion leader lol

Sometimes I've found it a chore but other times I've discovered a book that I wouldn't normally have read but in the end loved :)
