Good advice, David - in the current situation I'm only voting for things I have or know are in my local library's ebook section.
No doubt, Quantum Man: Richard Feynman's Life in Science is my choice
I'm changing my vote from Third Chimpanzee, The: On the Evolution and Future of the Human Animal. I'm most of the way through it & shocked at how poor it is. It's also almost 30 years old. Instead, I'm going to vote for A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived: The Stories in Our Genes.

You can get a surprising number this cheaply if you shop the websites.
