Hmm, none of these really blew me away like last year. Last year I knew exactly who I was going to pick but this year not so much.

Easy choice for me, but I am absolutely a Jim Butcher fan boy.

Same for me Wayland, I have lost count of the number of times I have read Storm Front. Have you read 'The Aeronaut's Windlass yet?

Haven't read it yet, but it's sitting here next to me. It's part of this year's plan. I've met him twice now, and will see him again in February. ;)

Michael Wow, nice line up. I'll have to refrain from voting as I have a book in the running...honored for that, by the way. Thanks for the inclusion along with such amazing choices.

You're welcome - I love the fact our BotM choices are voted in by our members :D

I've not read any Jim Butcher... I guess I should check him out!

Definitely do - the Dresden books are a lot of fun. If you are into audiobooks, consider listening to them. James Masters (Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) does the narration and he's fabulous.

In any case, read or listen - I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

Sarah Is it still fair to vote for something I didn't read when the group did, but did read later?

I don't see why not.

Yes, James/Spike does an incredible job with the audio. :D

I highly enjoyed your Theft of Swords and gave it a 4. I plan to continue the series this year.

Coming second to Rothfuss is no mean feat!
