This category is only one book per month, 12 books per year. However, this is the only category that already has existing discussion threads. You can comment on any of these books anytime it is convenient. We don't close discussion threads, you can read any past group book on our bookshelf and let the group know what you think.

I know what you mean. Of the two books we are voting on that are 600+ pages East of Eden was a fast smooth read. While Moby-Dick; or, The Whale just dragged, it took me twice as long to read it as it took to read East of Eden.
That's what I was thinking. I love all of our choices and I've always wanted to read Moby Dick, but I don't think he can go in a month, so I changed my vote. :-)

I agree, I usually don't care which books wins the reread poll and I rarely vote, but this time I was holding out some hope for either Out of Africa or The Name of the Rose. Based on results on far hope is fading.
After nominating A Farewell to Arms 8 times in 2015 it may finally win. I will really have to do some thinking to decide on another nomination after this.
