As the hot weather approaches I begin to look forward to October and books set in that month which is the best month!

Rick I do love October, except … it means winter is quickly approaching. And I am a warm weather guy (my ancestry is from the deserts of North Africa).

Glad you can enjoy the heat but I can't. South Texas about killed me as I look like a vampire and prefer night time!! Thanks for voting.

Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* Great idea! I was inspired to make another list for February: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2...

There should be a list for every month.

Yes, very good idea.

So you'll make them, then? Ha, just kidding, I suppose I should since it was my idea. But I don't know if I can think of books that will fit other months to get them started.

December should be easy at least, every Xmas story ever.

I actually have already made a few of these and will look for more. Please send me any links that you find for this as it is very interesting to me. I am currently reading Death of a Dentist which seems to be set in November in Scotland so some very bad storms have come in. Is there a list for November already?

Rick I didn’t check the whole list of lists that came up for November in the search, but there is one for November in the Title: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...

I also added the tag Month Settings to both this list and the February one, so include that in any new lists. That should make this easier. 😹

Thanks so much! I will look at this one now.

message 9: by Kent (new)

Kent Chen Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* is claiming books are “AI-written”. Such claims demand proof. At a technical level, there is no reliable fingerprint for AI text—no dataset, no tool, no method exists. Without hard evidence, such claims are pure speculation. And when speculation damages an author’s career or credibility, the legal term is defamation.
