K.C. Rivers is a fantasy enthusiast with a particular fetish for elves, pirates, and winged creatures. She often finds inspiration for her writing from the scenic outdoors and is currently pursuing a career in landscape photography in addition to writing. When she’s not playing the piano, editing photos, or reading, she can usually be found taking a long walk or enjoying a good cup of coffee. She lives in beautiful Central Oregon with her rescue pup, Bailey.

I'm...conflicted when it comes to this book. I genuinely enjoyed the first half. The world building was weaker than what I'm used to, but I've been spoiled by Brandon Sanderson when it comes to that particular area so I don't necessarily expect other ...more

We have some similar favorite authors. I adore Lewis and Tolkien!"

Aw, thank YOU! Yes, Lewis and Tolkien were huge inspirations for me. In fact, I recently decided to re-read The Chronicles of Narnia just for fun. And because I now have an omnibus. :)
