I loved it. It has alllll the feels. The progression of the main character realizing what’s important is phenomenal. You grow to love everyone on the island.

3.5 stars rounded up. I enjoyed this but think the massive hype did make my experience not as wonderful as expected. I thought it was fine overall but not a new favorite. I loved the children they were by far my favorite part. Chauncey and Thalia especially, I enjoyed every single part with them, but I truly loved all the magical children and their eccentricities.
