I really didn't start liking this book until the last third of it, finding it too much mean girl high school type of book for my taste, which I stated in my updates as I was reading. To live the same day over and over until you got it right sounds like a nightmare. Sam has to do just that. The first 3 times though is hard to read. She is a typical selfish teenager who I just wanted to slap. There were many times where she did horrible things. What's it matter she would say. I have to do it over again any ways. All I could think was wouldn't it sick if today was the day it didn't repeat and you had to move on and live with what you did? It was kind of refreshing to see her gr ...more

I love Lauren Oliver, but thank goodness this wasn't the first book of her I've read or it probably would've been my last. Sam keeps relieving the same day over and over again - and getting frustrated (as I was) that she couldn't figure out why she was having a groundhog day.
