So this book is full of characters I just couldn't stand and yet she had a way of writing that still drew me in. I just kept reading. I know there was some actuality in the characters and perhaps that was the most depressing part. There was a lot of sexual references, language, drinking and suicide so for future reference won't be putting it on my kids reading list even though it is a young adult book. Though this book falls short of Lauren Oliver's new series, this book still compels the reader to keep turning the pages in a dizzying pace. With extreme ups and downs, this book will wind you through different emotions like a roller coaster. With an ending that is expected but still gut-wrenching, it's definitely worth a read.

I love Lauren Oliver, but thank goodness this wasn't the first book of her I've read or it probably would've been my last. Sam keeps relieving the same day over and over again - and getting frustrated (as I was) that she couldn't figure out why she was having a groundhog day. Honestly I can't remember what finally happened or how it ended, although (view spoiler)
