I read this as more allegorical/parable than necessarily believing that this exact situation really could happen in the United States much less Cambridge, MA. My favorite part about the book? Aunt Lydia quotes! She totally reminded me of Effie in The Hunger Games. Otherwise, book is nothing to rave about. Plot is good, but story is very slow and hard to follow at the beginning. It took me forever to get into the book. Second half of book is much better and the ending is epic!

This book left me with my own imagination and nightmares, for it's ambiguous ending. I will recommend this book as a must-read! Especially to both, who feel we as society and the world politics is heading in a right or a wrong direction rather. No matter what your thoughts are , this books will either give you nightmares or a very scary reality check.
