What Members Thought
I did not like Eldest nearly as much as I did Eragon. That isn't to say I am not looking forward to the last installment Brsingr. I thought in this book instead of learning from the masters Christopher almost seemed to take pieces and make a patchwork that was the master. I did still very much enjoy the characters and their highs and lows. Keep it up Christopher your BIG novel was not Eragon it is still around the corner I think.

I have tried several times to get through this book, both in print and on CD, and have yet to do it. I thought Eragon was ok, but Eldest is way too long, and I found myself marking my copy up with a pencil and editing out large chunks of text. I'll probably try book 3 in the series, but I won't be purchasing it. I'll re-read "Lord of the Rings" instead.

This was a great continuation of the series and i loved it everyone should read it.
long awaited, and it filled the void, only to leave you wanting to know more.
