Yes, I have a story in this anthology so my rating comes from all stories except "The Jester" - I'll leave it to others to say how well I did on that particular piece. Pretty good stories by a lot of excellent authors. I was listening to another short story collection which had afterwords for its stories & liked that better. This one has forewords. Either one can be mucked up of course, but forewords are really limited or else they're spoilers. I don't appreciate afterwords where the author feels they need to tell me what they already said via the story, but that format does give them more freedom to point out where specific elements came from & why they used

This is an anthology of short stories meant to help the editor pay his medical bills. So it's for a good cause. The editor had Hodgkin's Lymphoma. My dad struggled with the non-Hodgkin's variety for seven years. So it's a cause I'm close to. That said, I think this is one of the best anthologies I've ever read. Understand that opinion may be biased.

Some great stories, some good stories, and some that I didn't like all that much. I did find a couple of authors that I'm interested in trying their work through this.
