Shelves: favorites
A true SF classic. It won the Hugo in 1953, and hasn't aged at all. It is still a great story and keeps you guessing all the way through, even though you think you know all there is to know from early on. The twist is fairly well hidden and is worth it to find. ...more

I found myself longing for more stories within this world. I particularly want to find out exactly what did happen when "Honest Abe" stole the weather!

I love the way that interweaving telepathic communication is depicted, looking more like a poem by E.E. Cummings than standard dialogue.
