HOLY CLIFFHANGER BATMAN! i hatez dem. but YES i read this book in one sitting and YES i'm gonna run straight out and get number two. or should i say, click right over to amazon and download it.

as much as i despise the cliffhanger ending, i must say it is effective at getting me to keep reading. /sigh ...more

certainly not the OMG! that others have raved about. the dystopian future and its tech was honestly silly or ridiculous (battle royale, been there done that). characters were well written, loved katniss (woot archer hunter girl). i'll read the 2nd but we'll see how that goes. can't commit to the rest of the trilogy at this point.
