These books are all so good. I read the first 4 together and it's been a while so I'd forgotten what happened to a few characters and had a hard time remembering who a few were (there's just so many characters!). It was good to see the return of more of my favorites again, the last book in the series was not as appealing to me. One thing I really love about this author is that he's not afraid to kill off interesting and sympathetic characters for the sake of a realistic story.

A Dance with Dragons is the fifth book in George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" epic, arriving six years after the last book.
