This was one of my favorite books when I was a kid. I used to spend so long thinking about the mountains and the goats and Peter and Heidi. I remember being fixated on the discriptions of good- the milk and cheese and bread. So many things about this book I always remembered so vividly. It was great to read this again as an adult. I felt the same way about most of the things. I will say that I didn't remember it being as god- heavy as it is, especially towards the end. I guess as a kid I used to ...more
