While writing this review, I kept asking myself, how does Pamela Clare do it? How does she write book after amazing book, each one getting better than the one before? When I was sure she couldn’t possibly top Extreme Exposure, I read Hard Evidence and was blown away. Then, when I’m certain there’s no way she can beat Hard Evidence, I read Unlawful Contact and found myself literally sitting on the edge of my seat, unable to put it down, and staying up until the wee hours of the morning to finish ...more

What a fantastic romantic suspense! I enjoyed this book so much, I didn't want it to end, yet I desperately wanted to see how it played out! I was not disappointed in the least about anything in this story. It had a smart, beautiful heroine; a sexy, courageous, selfless hero; a taut, exciting plot, and wonderful characterizations throughout. Add a sexy, beautiful love story, a couple of big surprises leading up to an explosive ending, and a touching epilogue, and what more could you want? This i

Unlawful Contact is another example of Pamela's Clare's ability to write top notch romantic suspense that satisfies both the heavy-duty romance fan who wants a true love story and the analytical reader who looks for realism in her fiction. In this case, her story is about Sophie and Marc aka Hunt, who met in high school, parted for twelve years, and came back together in a very explosive fashion.

After reading Unlawful Contact, I can still say that I love this series by Pamela Clare. I had doubts that I would enjoy this one as well as the first two since the premise is that of a convicted killer breaking out of prison and taking the heroine hostage. At the outset, that didn't sound like my kind of hero, even if he was trying to save his sister, but the author did a great job of creating a caring, anguished character out of him.

The first book I read by Pamela Clare was a historical, which I absolutely loved. Sometimes, I find, that if you're a really good historical writer, then you can't really be a good contemporary writer as well. Obviously I have been sadly deluded!! Becuase Pamela Clare seriously nailed this Romantic Suspense, right on the head!! I've said it once before, but this books deems it be repeated: I don't know why I waited so long to read a book by Pamela Clare! This is my second book I've read by this

This one had a little more romance and somewhat less developed suspense plot than the previous two I-Team books, but it was still a great book. I felt like Clare's descriptions of Marc's emotions were excellent. I really felt his fear, anger, anguish, and determination. She did an excellent job with his character. I enjoyed Sophie as well, but didn't feel quite as tuned into her emotionally as I did Marc.

What a fabulous read! This is another hit in Pamela's I-Team series. These books are hard to put down and this one was no exception. I was surprised at the ending as I didn't see that coming, which disappoints me as I should've known.
At times I felt such heartache for what Marc and Sophie were going through. Honestly, I figured out how it would all get resolved but that didn't take anything away from the story for me. It was such a heartwarming ending. The epilogue was fabulous as it always is ...more
