I just posted the cover on the blog. I'd do a cover reveal here, but I'm apparently too stupid to know how to post a photo in this space. Thank you, Beanbag! <3There is also an excerpt up on my blog here on Goodreads and also on my website.

PC's rights to romantic suspense were tied up with Penguin and she was barred from writing any full I-Team novels (she could still do novellas). She couldn't even start up a new romantic suspense series if she wanted! She has the rights now so she can write RS to her (and our!) heart's content. Yay!

YES! I'm not sure how many I-Team novels are left in me. I will probably do some novellas as the ideas sprout. BUT I will be launching an I-Team spinoff this year involving Javier and Derek Tower's private security company, where Holly and Nick also work now. So that will be some international RomSus sexiness. The first book is Derek's. I think he'll be off to save a senator's daughter.
I can't even tell you how happy I am to get this news...I find it so difficult to find romantic-suspense that lives up to the standards that you've set, Pamela. There are a few other writers out there that do it well (and I'm sure there are more that I've yet to discover) but they are few and far between. Looking forward to lots of "RomSus sexiness" to come!

Yayyy! So excited for this, Pamela!

Happy Dance all around the house!!
I'm a lot like Charlene, I am always searching for author that can write what I want to read. Mystery/suspense, sexiness, humor. I am so happy that you have reclaimed the right to write Romantic-Suspense. No one does it better!

Probably a good idea. Not just because this book is Joaquin and we've loved him forever, but also because I binged Outlander and ended up not continuing with the series after Breath of Snow and Ashes. You can definitely get overloaded on that one.
I'm just rereading other stuff right now, so it will be no problem for me to drop something and switch over to Deadly Intent.

Thanks, Bean!!! I'm supposed to get DoA from the library on Monday soooo...it gets to wait! Although, I can read that one during the week. I'll want the weekend all to myself to read this book in one sitting. LOL
Ah. Library changes things up. I always try to hit the library books first since there's usually a line behind me. But DoA shouldn't have a wait list so you can take your time.
I actually had it suspended on hold for a bit because I wasn't ready to read it. Hadn't caught up with the other books yet. The hold suspend ends today so I should be getting it soon. I'm actually reading another book right now but only read it when I am on the exercise machine in the morning. Right now my lunch break and evenings are filled with me catching up on watching When Calls the Heart, the Hallmark Channel series. I've been binge watching it for the past week or so. I should be all caught up by Friday!!! :)Look at these two! *heart eyes emoji* !!!
FB today:
DEADLY INTENT, my 25th book, is now out of my hands. Benjamin will format it and upload it over the course of the next few hours. And then the real countdown begins. I expect the book to be out sometime tomorrow on Amazon and then soon after on iBooks, Nook, Smashwords, and Kobo. It will be out in paperback in about seven to 10 days. I'm not planning to do an audiobook version at this point.
Tomorrow! eeeeeeeee!

Here's what you need to know about the release of DEADLY INTENT:
1. It's the first I-Team novel since DBM and the first full-length novel since SEDUCTION GAME.
2. The book picks up one month after DBM.
3. Kat and Gabe are mentioned but aren't in the story because Kat is on the res on maternity leave and Gabe is, of course, with her. Everyone else is in the book, even if only a tiny cameo. There is LOTS of Marcangelo.
4. There won't be preorders.
5. I will finish the book, upload the book, and post when the book is up. You will be my hero if you share news of the release all over creation. Facebook has made it more and more difficult to reach people.
If you don't want to miss the release, then please watch Facebook around Feb. 20 or sign up for my newsletter via my website! Watch for a confirmation email in your spam folder or inbox. Click to confirm.
