What Members Thought
Really enjoyed Alex (Galaxy) Stern, the magical, and resourceful protagonist in this fantasy romp through the Ivy League. Interestingly, my read before this featured Alejandro (Sandy) Stern in Scott Turow’s “The Last Trial” which is another 5 star recommendation. So my takeaway, if you see a book with a Stern, buy it!
The first 75% was very slow going with not much happening a lot of the time, but everything really comes together in the last 25%. It was definitely worth pushing through to the end, but that first 75% was a slog.
