As 12 years pass between the events in Tricked (Bk 4) and Trapped (Bk 5), this novela is set right in the middle timewise and sets the stage for Ragnarök (the showdown between the Norse gods and some really bad people) and some very interesting alliances between Atticus and some gods. We also learn how Atticus and Granuaile are dealing with their 'working' relationship and some very revealing tidbits about Atticus' past.

I wouldn't say the book was boring but it didn't have excitement of previous

I enjoyed this novella from the Iron Druid Chronicles but I wish we could see some of Granuaile's training! I know the story is about Atticus but I've really come to like his young apprentice.

This story is set about six years into Granuaile's druidic training. The Morrigan arrives with a message for Atticus and he is soon pulled back into the world of the Norse gods.

Two Ravens and one Crow is a bridge between Tricked and Trapped which involves a twelve year gap in the series timeline.

Interesting set-up for a future storyline. But I would've certainly done without all the erected penises and all the lusting. It felt like everybody was hopped up on Viagra or something. A bit sleazy, in my opinion. ...more

First off. Holy smokes was that a time jump! Six years gone in no time. Great short story. Loved the interaction with Odin.
