A great beginning to a series! I liked the type of characters and the world being setup here.

I've been wanting to start this for such a long time! I wish the story could've been longer to develop better, but it was funny, entertaining, sexy, with just a little bit of action.

For the most part I liked the characters in this novel, although at times their emotions didn't feel believable. And I also liked the characters around them. The Valkyrie are a funny bunch!

With Wroth and Myst it was... love ...more

This is the Short Story/Prologue to the Immortals After Dark Series. And I have to honestly say, Thank god that I didn't start out with this, because there would be a high chance of me not reading the Immortals After Dark Series because of it. And I am hoping that THE WARLORD WANTS FOREVER is the ONLY Kresley Cole book I end up disliking.

This book is hilarious. I'll admit I don't know if that was the intention, but it is awful hilarious. It's vampire erotica and it has the beginning of what looks like a world building (and Cole does get so much better as the books progress and she finds her comedic cadence) but the premise here is so far out ridiculous it cannot be taken seriously.

I'd give no stars if I thought I wouldn't hurt someone's feelings here.
Luckily it was a quick, short read. Maybe I'm reading the wrong series/author
But, if I'm correct I have noticed this book on several top reads so...
Idk, I can only speak for myself. I did like the parts of the book that involved the
History of the Valkyrie & Lore. Wroth's few fighting scenes & I did enjoy when Wroth &
Myst fought side by side. If I didn't have to read about the pathetic escapees on every other page
