ooohhh yay a puppy! Just what the series was missing in the cuteness factor! I love you Jim Butcher! What a wonderful character you have created in this little dog. I'm definately a dog person, and think that he brings so much to this series.

Harry Dresden is a sexist piece of shit. Besides that fact, the books in this series are a lot of fun to read! This is the 6th installment and while it wasn’t as enjoyable as the others, I still didn’t wanna put it down.

I would have given it five stars, but Dresden is still annoying in this, and the writing hasn't gelled. I especially get annoyed by how completely Dresden is a projection of Jim Butcher still. Case in point the thing about people caring about children. I know I don't. Most people who don't have kids tend to dislike them more then anything. Jim Butcher on the other hand is a parent, so he has that typical thing where he thinks everyone else cares about kids too. And thats projected into all the ...more

I so love Harry! He took quite a few big hits in this installment and I have to say I was shocked by a few of them. I also enjoyed getting to see a new side to Murphy! She is such a great character and I hope to see her more involved in upcoming books.
