4.25 stars. Amazing 11th volume in the Psy-Changeling series (not counting novellas). This is a big behemoth of a book! Huge cast of characters, multiple 3rd person POV's and numerous subplots. All kudos to the author for wrestling this beast into a gripping novel.

There is a loving romance between two shapeshifters that turns the tables on the mating-bond trope. Yet the presence of Lisette as a looming threat to both Riaz and Adria gives their romance a slightly melancholy air. So I can't say i ...more

Sometimes books work for me as romances but not really as stories; and sometimes I'm very invested in the plot and in the world but I find the romance lacking. In most of the Psy-Changeling books they've flat out worked as both stories and romances. While this one wasn't my favorite of the series, it was still a great read. For the romance alone I'd probably rate this a little lower. Riaz & Adria are fine, really. And I love what Singh has done with the mating bond here. I find a lot of authors ...more

I loved the book although I wasn't really that interested in Adria and Riaz as a couple. That changed quite quickly. The road to their HEA after was bumpy and towards the end heartbreaking. I really hope that the mate bond between the two of them is not entirely out of the picture.
Other than that I loved the scenes with all my favourite couples - I love getting information about how they develope. ...more

Tangle indeed. There is always a lot going on in each story but this one threw in just about every character/couple imaginable. I heart Judd. I heart the Arrows. I'm going to have to re-read the series at some point because I have flown through a handful of books in days and everything is mushed together. ...more
