It took me a long time to get around to reading this, in part because of the not so favorable reviews from friends. This definitely did not live up to previous books but I thought it was fine, liking the second half more than the first.

I like that Cat and Bones are in happily-ever-after mode, lots of cute, sweet moments, but I don't need to keep hearing about how much they went through to get to this point, their 4 year separation - we remember, we read the books. If you're going to be happy, ju ...more

Picks right up where last book left off. Awesome villain with absolutely no redeeming qualities. Nice twist with Sarah. Don continues to keep secrets (and the nerve to make Cat feel guilty when she doesn't put up with it. Bones has her back. Always.). Then there's Madigan. Not sure what he is up too. Cat and Bones continue to be a favorite couple of mine.

Shelves: favorites, vampires

I love this series and no surprise I loved this book. My only issue was the ending. They completed whatever mission they had and that was it, the end. For some reason, that seemed a little lacking but maybe I'm just being a pain because I always want more to read. lol. Overall, very good story. Can't wait for the next one :-) Especially the book (if there ever is one) about Ian finding his love interest. That should be one hell of a story! ...more

Cat and Bones are back in the most action centered adventure yet, making them one of the best crime fighting duos. The supporting characters are amazing as usual.
