Reread September 2016. This would have to be one of the top 5 Adult paranormal romances. Not many alpha werewolves could be the delicious Scot, Bowen MacRieve.

the first few chapters were basically the same as from the previous book or from the point of view of one of the other contestants. When it finally reached the point of the Hie being over it really picked up from where the previous book left off. Bowen & Mariketa are intersting characters, and I liked the witty banter between them. Great action, plenty of laughs.

I think this is my favorite of the series so far. Maybe the glossary at the begining helped alot. Going in to this book I still didn't know what a valkyrie were.

The romance was good and the plot kept me wanting to keep reading. The twist at the end I didn't see coming and I love it when there is the happy everafter I didn't expect. ...more
