To all my Goodreads friends that are OCD about reading books in a series in order – my apologies, I read book 5 first. It didn’t really matter. Once I figured out that Kitty was a werewolf, all was good, and I jumped right in.

In this instalment, Kitty and her fiancé Ben travel to Las Vegas to tape a live episode of Kitty’s Midnight Hour show. They also decide to forgo all the wedding planning and have a small wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. Kitty is looking forward to some quiet, relaxing time by ...more

Shelves: read-2011, audio

First successfully completed audiobook. Listening to a book is definitely slower than reading, but allows for multi-tasking so I'll take it :)

This book continues with Kitty going to Las Vegas to 'elope' with Ben. She is also doing her first radio show with a live audience. Of course, nothing goes as planned and we get drama galore.

If you've enjoyed the series up to now, book 5 doesn't disappoint, Kitty manages to find trouble where ever she goes, runs into some interesting characters, a fun read ...more

This addition to the Kitty Norville series was not as exciting as I was expecting. I've always thought this series to be pretty good about keeping an interesting story, but this one didn't really catch my interest.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I really don't care so much for Ben. I didn't like how he kept not recognizing Kitty as his fiance in front of his "hunter" friends, and it trully felt like he could care less if they ended up getting married or not.
