Lover Enshrined was unlike previous BDB books in that (1) most of the other brothers/shellans had only a short or no appearance; (2) young brothers Quinn/Blay/John had a lot of things happen in their lives, bringing them closer together (in many different ways) and into the war; (3) it was like a Book of Revelations (more history on/insight into the lives of Rehv, John, Phury, Quinn, Blay, and Cormia).

Phury sacrificed himself to save his Brother Vishous and to protect his race. He became the Primale, the male responsible for continuing the Brotherhood's bloodline, and is now obligated to father the sons and daughters who will lead the race in the future. Selected as his first mate is Cormia who is drawn to the responsibility and honour Phury shows. But Phury is reluctant to fulfill his role and as such is putting the future of the entire race in danger.

Shelves: title-l, vampires, 2010, paranormal, reviewed, female-lead, 3-stars, not-manga

Oh lord help us all! This could have had a smoother plot yet it did not. I do admit that I liked it just fine though. If you're starting out on this series I suggest you take a week break from it so you don't get burned out so quickly on it. Like with everything else in life moderation is a great thing!
