At page 59: I intensely dislike Tate and I've hardly even started the book. Let me count the reasons why.

1. She's "independent" from her parents, wanting to sell her art. She's made disparaging comments about growing up stinking rich, expected to marry a stinking rich man and have stinking rich children. BUT, she's still living on her trust fund 'til she gets started.

2. She wants to move into Golgotham because it's "so real". As opposed to the rest of New York which is apparently filled with w ...more

First of all, I'd like to say that I really liked the world the story was set in. Golgotham is a part of New York where all the supernatural and magical beings live. You can find pretty much everything from centaurs to satyrs, leprechauns to shifters, dryads to crazy biker chicks.
Unfortunately that was the only thing this book had going for it. I didn't connect to any of the characters, in fact I'm not even sure if I even liked our heroine, Tate. Her love interest was a nice guy, but pretty bla ...more

It's a PNR... I thought it was going to be an UF... Oh well. :) It is pretty slow in the beginning... and for a PNR... not as juicy if you know what I mean. :) Still a good easy read... Hummm.. maybe a Cozy UF? Like those Cosy Mysteries. :P ...more
