I LOVED THIS BOOK! I have to say it was probably the best of the series so far. I was a bit torn between wanting Dimitri to be back, and thinking that it wouldn't make sense for him to just get back and be with Rose again. So I think the way it was done in this book it was perfect. I thought maybe Adrian was going to do it out of love for Rose and wanting to give her what she wanted, but I see that it had to be Lisa to do it, to show she could also do something for Rose. The Vampire Academy series is a guilty pleasure of mine. I love the books, the characters, and the vampire lore. I have recommended the series to many friends.

I found that in Spirit Bound, Rose's character grated on my nerves. I really wanted to like Rose. I wanted her to save Dimitri. I wanted her to be with Dimitri. I was Team Dimitri. I just found that Rose was so angsty and so self-involved. It really took away from my enjoyment of the book.

OMG...yes that's basically the easiest way to describe this book because you keep saying it over and over again as you read. Cliffhanger ending which makes me desperate for the next book, though I know I'll have to wait a year probably.

LOTS happens in this book. So much that I can't really talk about it without giving something away. If you liked the other books you HAVE to read this book. ITS A MUST READ.
