Fast action, cool world-building. For anyone into ritual magic, deep religious secrets, and lots of fiighting. Follow Cade and his team as they run afoul of sorcerors, revenants, demons and fight to prevent an ancient relic with great power from falling into the wrong hands.
Solid start to a series. I liked the concept and the story kept me engaged. I just had a minor issue with not quite connecting with the main character. Since this is more a case of battle won, war still in progress, I might pick the next one up on KU and see how things develop ... if I have time.
