All I want to say for this book is...

Yes! ^.^ But I don't want a beer, just get me a coke. xD

This book just refreshed my mind and It reminded me that there are still awesome books left in this world for me to read.

Divergent is no Hunger Games, trust me on this one. It is more like Matched, Delirium or The Uglies series. If you really want to know what similarities are there in Hunger Games and Divergent, then I will tell you. Its based on the future.....Yes, thats all.

Why did I not start this one sooner?

This is the very question I was asking myself as I became immersed in the pages of Tris's story. What can I say, I loved every minute of it and devoured it in one sitting. How could I have waited so long to start this? What was holding me back?

The hype. I am always leery of hype and more often than not, it keeps me from starting series rather than diving into them. Not a great known fact but one nonetheless.

Im speechless.

This book was so amazing. I didn't read all at the same time, and the beginning could have been funnier, but it was a amazing book either way that I will never forget.

Beatrice leaves her family to be with the. Dauntless she finds love, hate and friendship, also her character grows from a teenage girl to an adult.

Highly recommended to everyone!!

Beatrice Prior has turned sixteen and she now has to decide which of five factions to join for life (Abnegation/the selfless, Candor/the honest, Dauntless/the brave, Amity/the peaceful or Erudite/the intelligent).

She was born Abnegation and must decide whether to help others (and stay with her family) or help herself and be free in another faction.

I am a big fan of dystopia and think the idea for this book is interesting and exciting.

It reminded me in some ways of the Hunger Games. And I think t

I can see why so many people like this book. It has probably filled a void that was left when the Hunger Games ended. A few years ago now, but this appears to be the hottest dystopian fiction to hit the shelves since then.

After John Green recommended this book, I had high hopes. Hopes that were not quite met, but the book ended better than it started. After only a few chapters in, I thought that getting through this book would be tough and that I really wouldn't like it. I found the wri

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this and, boy, was I right to! Where do I begin with the awesomness of this book? For starters, unique concept. Simple, but oh, so compelling! And then the characters. Tris, who reminded me of Katniss - tough as nails, smart, inspiring. Four, who was just so well written I don't even know where to start with the praise. Political intrigue, smart and carefully explained. Evil, smart vixen as the face of the villainy. A love story that was revealed gradually, lik ...more
