If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. It was simply amazing. I had a lot of thinking to do for this one. So much thinking that I decided I needed to read it again to give you a proper review. It was much better than I expected (I was unaware of the hype it was receiving) and I felt like I raced through it the first time. The truth is, I just couldn't get enough of Four... [sigh]... or maybe it's that this book is

All I want to say for this book is...

Yes! ^.^ But I don't want a beer, just get me a coke. xD

This book just refreshed my mind and It reminded me that there are still awesome books left in this world for me to read.

Divergent is no Hunger Games, trust me on this one. It is more like Matched, Delirium or The Uglies series. If you really want to know what similarities are there in Hunger Games and Divergent, then I will tell you. Its based on the future.....Yes, thats all.

There are many reviews in

OMG! I can not even begin to express my LOVE for this book! It was an awesome read! I was taken back by the fraction and held by Candor not to tell a lie! I love the writing, the plot, the characters. Everything was so explosive, so mind blowing that I will re-read this book over and over again!

What I like the most was the characters. The characters immediately came at you with a vengeance. All of them were unique yet the same. You can easily relate to the characters and take a walk in their sho

Beatrice Prior has turned sixteen and she now has to decide which of five factions to join for life (Abnegation/the selfless, Candor/the honest, Dauntless/the brave, Amity/the peaceful or Erudite/the intelligent).

She was born Abnegation and must decide whether to help others (and stay with her family) or help herself and be free in another faction.

I am a big fan of dystopia and think the idea for this book is interesting and exciting.

It reminded me in some ways of the Hunger Games. And I think t

*4.5* is what I am actually giving this book. I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. I have heard a lot of people comparing it to the hunger games and in its dystopian way, it has some similarities, but Hunger Games it is not! I may be bias because of the love I have for that series, but do not get me wrong Divergent is fantastic in its own ways! I loved Tris and Four from the begining and I am hoping and praying there is more to follow. I'm not quite sure because there wasn't many thi ...more

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this and, boy, was I right to! Where do I begin with the awesomness of this book? For starters, unique concept. Simple, but oh, so compelling! And then the characters. Tris, who reminded me of Katniss - tough as nails, smart, inspiring. Four, who was just so well written I don't even know where to start with the praise. Political intrigue, smart and carefully explained. Evil, smart vixen as the face of the villainy. A love story that was revealed gradually, lik ...more
