I am amazed by this book. I had been looking forward to it but Dmitri was actually my least favourite of Raphael's Seven so it was more a case of reading this one to get to the next one. Which me brings me back to the amazement. I loved this book and it is actually my favourite in the whole series so far.
Dmitri in the previous books is lethal and beautiful, sensual and cruel and in this book he is no different, he is all those things, but he is also more. You see a different side and you see how ...more

Sooooo goood!! I have loved Dmitri since the first Guild Hunters book and I really liked Honor as well. I figured out where they were going with her really early on, but that did not keep me from enjoying the ride.
I know the series is called Guild Hunters, but I hope each of Raphael's 'Seven' gets his own book. I especially cannot wait for Illium's. ...more

Oh wow. I think this may be my favourite book by Nalini Singh. The passion - both romantic and sexual - between Dmitri and Honor is palpable. Speaking of Dmitri, he has to be one of the hottest heroes I've ever encountered. I knew what the big reveal at the end of the book was going to be (I glimpsed those pages), but that didn't stop it being one of the most romantic scenes ever.

Review to come soon, but I completely adored this book.

Hmmm. I really liked the first 70% of the book. Fast pace, character development, slowly building relationship - everything was worth 5*. But sadly the last part wasn's as good. Something was missing. The bad villain wasn't bad enough, the big secret was revealed rather hasty.

When Honor told Dimitri about her reincarnation the book was at its last pages. It was too short. Dimitri's reaction should have been described longer.

Sonunda kızın reenkarne olayı bende "Ha,hı, nasıl?" durumu yarattı. Eskide yaşananlar feci acıklıdı. Güzel anlatılmıştı. Sırf onun için bu iki yıldız. Kitabı resmen üç haftada bitirdim. :/

Not much I can say that isn't going to make me sound like a gushing fangirl. So I'll just say that I loved it. Loved Honor and Dmitri, loved the look to the past and the man that Dmitri was, loved Honor's journey to heal, and loved them together.
