Read this during a very busy semester, but still was able to get into it. Dracula definitely creeped me out during certain parts!
I really liked this book. It was different than I expected. I found it a gripping read not scary just gripping.
Thinly veiled Victorian-era fear-of-sex (duh).
But seriously, the tomb scene is probably one of the best creepy and spine-tingling narrations I've read. This is coming from someone who openly hates horror/whathaveyou. Didn't give me nightmares but kept me thinking long after I put it down. ...more
