This story was amazing from start to finish. Deep, dark and troubling and yet filled with the hopes and innocence only a child can provide. What an amazing book! The book started slowly but by the second chapter, the pace of the book picked up and really gathered steam towards the end. Its a really interesting novel and definitely an interesting concept of using Jack as the narrator, even though he is only 5 years old. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed it. It stressed me out a little, but I liked the ending. It's definitely a page turner. At times, the five year old perspective was getting on my nerves but at the same time it was interesting to see the world thru those young eyes.

Uniquely different. Well-written, interesting and a quick read. Well worth passing along to others.
Wow. I didn't want to like something like this, but the writing is fabulous and the characters suck you right in (especially the character of Jack - loved that little boy).
