This premise is so awesome, so classic, it just can’t be repeated: Ten people are lured to an island house party under false pretenses. There, they’re each accused of crimes that vary from manslaughter at best and cold-blooded murder at worst. Then they start getting killed one by one.

Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" is arguably her most renowned book. I'm not sure how I feel about the ending. It isn't that I mind that it was (view spoiler) as much as I don't like the way that it was delivered. I sort of wanted a bigger ending. Like him jumping out to Blore and Vera at the end and say aha! And I thought the nursery rhyme would have more significance than him just liking it as a child. Great fun! My first murder mystery, let alone Agatha Christie. What a great place to start! I loved how easy and fun this was to read, yet hard to figure out. Her writing style, with short sentences, paragraphs, and chapters, but full of great dialogue and quick action, made this an exciting read. Next thing you know, the books is over, it's late at night, and you still don't know who did it. You can see why she was the most popular mystery writer of all time.
