Another Ray Bradbury's jewel. As usual, he plays with language waving a fabric that entraps the fortunate reader. No spoiler here but, like in each one of his œuvres d'art, expect to be gripped between darkness and exhilaration. And be prepared to never put it down. ...more

Writing? AMAZING. Style? Beautiful. Characters? Great. Plot? Idk what part really sucked my soul out but I dragged through the whole book because I didn’t care. Enjoyed the creepiness and the circus, but the supernatural (like the mysterious magic?) bits just didn’t do it for me.
