What Members Thought
I read on Amazon that this was a retelling of Les Miserables which if I squint and close my eyes a lot then I can sort of see. Except that we have two Jean Valjeans of course. Unless Day and June are supposed to be Marius and Cosette in which case WTF.
Anyway I thought that it was all very slow to start with (although not as slow as Les Mis and with that I will stop with the Les Mis thing) but then it did certainly pick up. I'll probably read the next one because why not.

This book was very well written. It has a well thought out story line and well developed characters. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series. I rank this right up there with the Hunger Games and Divergent series.
