It's not fair for me to compare things to The Hunger Games, but I can't stop myself from doing it. This was a fast read (read it in a few hours). I think the book suffers from the syndrome that a lot of books with a shifting narrator suffer from - slapping a name on a chapter, using the same voice for each character, and claiming they're individuals.
