What Members Thought
No I didn't watch The Office or her current show but I enjoyed listening to her witty commentary on being a 20 something actress/comedian and her trials as she rose to fame along with all her snarky lists for various things. Overall I would say the audio is a great way of consuming this book because you can hear her personality through her voice better than if it was being read. I wanted to like this book so much. And in certain ways I did. I think she does some stuff around size, gender and her insight into Jews is kind of awesome. But she could articulate a much deeper race analysis and be funny while doing it. And it made me sad to hear her idealize Amy Poehler and Will Arnetts' marriage now that it is over.

Maybe not the most substantial read, but I found it to be hilarious and delightful. Reading it felt like hanging out with a really funny and awesome friend who is great at telling silly stories. Great way to spend a couple of hours.
It was almost as fun as watching "The Office."

Ha! I loved this book! Why DO guys take forever to put on shoes?
Funny in places, but uneven. I never really got into it.
I kinda wish Monday and I could be friends.
