4.5 stars. I loved this book.
I wish I had read this when I actually bought it. It had just enough information on several subjects that made me what to read more. I have already ordered books about the Bronte sisters, william wordworthe and the occupation of the channel islands dduring WW2.
This was just not one of my favorite books. I felt it had no direction, no plot. I NEED plot, so this book just did not suit my tastes. Well written, but not my style.
