Не, не е хорор, но во неа доминира стравот. Најмногу од непознатото ама и од тоа да дознаеш.

Malorie stands in the kitchen, thinking.

This book is soooo creepy and claustrophobic. I loved every minute of it. I can't imagine what it would be like to have to walk around outside blindfolded, let alone rowing down a river. The feeling of something unknown standing right next to you, practically breathing on you... Imagine the willpower it would take not to rip the blindfold off??

I really enjoyed this book. It was what I want from a thriller because I never knew what was going to happen. I was constantly wondering what would happen next. Even though I knew what the future loosely held due to the book being told in two different time periods, I still had no idea how it would come about. I’m not sure exactly WHY it took me so long to finish this book, but I really enjoyed it! It’s honestly not that scary, so I wouldn’t really label it as a thriller type of book, but it does have quite a few suspenseful scenes!

I’m excited to see how the movie adaptation turned out in comparison to the book. I’ve refused to allow myself to watch it until I had read the book, so I can FINALLY watch it now. I’m not going to be too hopefully, because the book is usually the better of the two, but I’ ...more
