"A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sarah J. Maas presents an intriguing blend of fantasy and romance, yet it leaves much to be desired in terms of world-building and character decisions.
One of the aspects I truly appreciated was the family dynamic between Feyre and her father and sisters. The early interactions among them provided a strong emotional foundation and added depth to Feyre's character. It’s a pity that this dynamic wasn’t explored further as the story progressed. Loooved this book! The plot, the romance, the magic, so good. I liked that it was "other worldly" with a villain trying to take over, but not a dystopian version of our future world. It was completely new. Can't wait to read the second one.
