What Members Thought
So this is my review of a re-read because I never got around to reviewing this when I read it the first time.
The first time being when young adult fantasy was still new to me and I was a whole bunch of naivete.
Yes I enjoyed it immensely then, now on the other hand the over used cliche's made me cringe. The way Maxxon kept calling everyone one ''my dear'' creeped me out. The fact that America is a stilted Mary Sue made me roll my eyes. Not because I dislike Mary Sue's, it was more the fact that ...more

Team Maxon! I really hate how America thinks. There are times I thought she's falling for Prince Maxon, but there are MORE times she's annoying. UGH. but all in all the plot is good. It's a relief I gave a chance to read this book. AMAZING <3

Really I would give it 3.5 stars. It was an entertaining, quick read.
This book was truly wonderful. I love dystopian books!
