In the world of The Selection, there are 8 different castes or levels in society (1-8). Ones are the highest level and have the most money. Eights have the least of everything and many are homeless and starving. The Selection itself is the process by which the prince chooses a wife. I haven’t read this book in years and I never finished the series, so I figured, why not give it another go!

And I’m not the least disappointed with that decision! 🥰

I will say that the idea of multiple girls going against one another to win the heart of the male lead is NOT a new concept, but the writing style was amazing!
