Have her be a bit older and already working as a journalist, maybe for a minor pop-culture rag. I don't want her to come off as clumsy in a Bella-esque way - just not used to wearing stilettos. It has been a while since i wore them and i'm sure Id fall and break my leg if I had to wear them. Plus I want him to do a little doctoring on her as a way of creating this intimacy between them so that's going to stay. But I def want her to be a bit older and already established rather than a student. TY!
Back to the editing phase...

OK here's a blunt question that demands honest answers. Looking over what you've read, are there too many similarities to FSOG? I admit readily that I have been influenced by FSOG. I loved the books, and wanted to write my own love affair with kink and that's what this is. I can see a few similarities and a few differences to FSOG -- my heroine is a young student (Grad Student in Journalism), a Dom who is wealthy and professional (Surgeon whose father became wealthy and so he inherited his wealth), who is involved in a charity (Doctors Without Borders through his father's foundation). Is that too similar?

If I write 2,000 words a day, it will take me 50 - 60 days to write. 100,000 - 120,000 words. July 1 to Beta Readers, Published August 1 depending.

I write 2,000 words a day so should be done sometime near the 15th of March. Then to you guys for your beta read. Then a month to get it in shape, including any rewrites and additions / deletions. Then final line edit and formatting and VOILA! Publish the title on April 15th. That's my goal anyway, the Good Lord Wiling And The Crick Don't Rise...

Here's the final version for this particular cover and title. Things may change between now and April 15 so who knows what we'll end up with?

I could ask him to unblur a bit but it's prolly blurred because the words don't fit with the content of the book.

Thanks Cherish! With your help and that of others, Dominion is now #5 in the top 100 paranormal fantasy category free books!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/...YAY!
So here is one with a place for a signature so it looks more like a contract...

It's necessary for indies to get their name out there so these promos really help but a lot of readers download lots of freebies but don't read until they hear buzz about the free book. But it's a start! So TY for helping!

OK so in this choice, the contract stays. My next question is this - do you like it overall? Does it fit with the new title?
Amy wrote: "Just posted this on all my websites and clubs!"TY!

Yes, thanks to everyone who is tweeting, Facebooking, or otherwise promoting Dominion! It's #13 in the to 100 Bestsellers (free) Kindle store.

Dominion is free on Amazon today and tomorrow. It's currently (as of 6:00 p.m. CST) #13 in the top 100 Bestsellers (Free) in the Kindle store.
Charlene wrote: "did you want us to post on the free book threads of other GR groups we belong to?"That would be really helpful!

I'm feelin the love! Speaking of which, I have a new thread on the current promo at Amazon. I hope to find some new readers so if you feel like helping me out, please do!

Hi, everyone! I am giving away Dominion for two days as a Valentine's Day special. If you would be so kind as to help me promote my series, it would be great! The promo starts tonight at Midnight PST and ends at Midnight February 15. I have two promo days left in this 90-day period and thought a promo during Valentine's Day would be a good idea.

If you can post the link and notice on your facebook pages or Tumblr -- whatever social media you use -- I will be your eternal slave...
You could even add in how you enjoyed the book personally and read the series, and that kind of thing if you felt so inclined...

You guys are amazing!
I am going for the cover with the pen and contract with "Elizabeth Lund" as my author name and "Unrestrained" for the title. Subtitle is "Love was never part of the agreement". I've asked my graphic artist to revise his cover and we'll take a look at what he comes up with.

I like just unrestrained Vs unrestrained on 8th ave
